Japan
For most language school programs in Japan, a minimum of JLPT N5 or NAT-TEST Level 5 is recommended. Some institutions may accept students with basic Japanese if they enroll in beginner-level programs. NILTI provides N5 foundation training before application.
A Student Visa allows you to study at Japanese language schools or universities. The Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) Visa allows you to work in specific industries (manufacturing, food service, nursing care, etc.) after passing the SSW skill test and JLPT N4 or JFT-Basic. NILTI offers preparation for both tracks.
Typically 3–6 months from application submission to Certificate of Eligibility (CoE) issuance. Visa stamping after CoE takes an additional 5–10 working days. NILTI manages the entire timeline to ensure no deadlines are missed.
Language Requirements
For the UK, most universities require IELTS 6.0–6.5 overall with no band below 5.5. For Australia, Subclass 500 requires a minimum of IELTS 5.5–6.0 depending on the course and institution. NILTI offers intensive IELTS preparation batches to help you reach your target score.
Yes. PTE Academic is widely accepted in Australia, the UK, and many European universities. Our training center offers dedicated PTE preparation with full-length mock tests and personalized feedback.

For Japan, most language schools require proof of NPR 8–15 lakhs in a bank account (or equivalent in Japanese Yen). This can be in your personal account or a sponsor's account with a properly notarized sponsor letter. NILTI's counselors will advise on the exact requirement for your specific school.
Yes. Several NILTI partner schools in Japan offer partial or full scholarships based on language test performance (JLPT N3 and above). Some Japanese government scholarships (MEXT) are also available. Our team actively identifies and applies for scholarships on eligible students' behalf.
